“But I will say that it was really, um, touching and moving to do both the acceptance and concession speech as Leslie because both, you know, you find that acceptance and concession speeches are about the same until the end. They thank everybody for their hard work, they realize that can’t do it alone, they talk about the stuff that they can’t wait do in the future, and then they say “Congratulations” to the other guy or - happy: me. But doing those speeches - it was really, um, it was the very end of our season and it was, like, the last week of our thing and Schur was directing and it was kind of me having to be on stage and then having to talk to the cast, which were all my friends, and telling them thank you for this election year; I couldn’t do it without you and we would never be here without the hard work of everybody. So it was a real waterworks factory over there for Ole Poehler.”
